
Jeff Ochs, CEO
Jeff (he/his) is a successful cross-sector entrepreneur. He founded and directed Breakthrough Twin Cities, a nonprofit college access and teacher training program, and he has helped launch a number of business and social enterprises. Before founding Venn Foundation, Jeff served as the Executive Director of an angel investor network; managed the University of Minnesota’s Discovery Capital program; and consulted for foundations making program-related investments into social enterprises. Jeff has a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Minnesota, and he played a leadership role in drafting and advocating for Minnesota's Public Benefit Corporation statute. He was recognized with the “40 Under 40” award by the Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal in 2015, as "100 People to Know in 2020" by Twin Cities Business, as a Minnesota Young American Leader in 2024, and as “Who’s Who in Impact Investing” in 2024 by Impact Finance Center.

Kristofer Wilson, General Counsel & PRI Pipeline Director
Kris (he/his) brings a powerful blend of legal expertise, cross-sector leadership, and mission-aligned investing to his role at Venn Foundation. Before joining Venn, Kris served as foundation counsel for the largest private operating foundation in Massachusetts. He oversaw governance and compliance across affiliated entities in health sciences, education, and senior living, and served on the foundation’s $4 billion finance committee. Kris led the launch of the foundation’s first program-related investment (PRI) initiative, an experience that sparked his passion for using catalytic capital to advance the public good. Earlier in his career, Kris was legal counsel to an entrepreneurial, privately held company, advising on all aspects of its operations during a period of growth and national expansion. He also has held legal roles with local and federal government agencies during times of crisis and organizational transition, providing strategic legal guidance on complex regulatory, operational, and policy challenges. Kris earned his J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law, where he concentrated in tax and business transactional law and completed externships with the IRS and the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. Kris serves on the board of New England’s largest workforce development nonprofit and chairs the finance committee of a mutual assistance nonprofit that provides zero-interest loans to promote financial resilience.

Annie Luepker, Operations Manager
Annie Luepker (she/her) has a diverse and extensive background in finance roles. Before joining Venn Foundation, Annie served as the Controller for NuVinAir Global, LLC. In this role, she oversaw all aspects of accounting and reporting. Additionally, she contributed to human resources, management, and process improvement initiatives. Before NuVinAir, Annie spent over a decade at Halliburton, holding various accounting and finance positions. As the Business Analyst for Project Battle Red, she focused on streamlining operations and integrating teams to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Annie also served as a Financial Analyst for multiple business lines within Halliburton, where she optimized resources and increased profitability through strategic analysis and proposal. Annie holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Stephen F. Austin State University.
